It was certainly a day of two halves at the Russley Garden City Legends tournament today. The morning players enjoyed perfect conditions and the infamous Canterbury Norwester kicked in for the afternoon strafing the course with powerful gusts and making putting very difficult. The winning score of five under par 67 was shared by three players, Rob McConnell from Australia and Taranaki based Craig Owen were matched by a magnificent afternoon round by Peter Fowler. Fowler's round was even more remarkable in that he double bogeyed the seventh hole. Tied for fourth place were Canadian ken Tarling and Australian Glenn Joyner on 68.
