Michael Campbell has recorded one of his better finishes on the Legends Tour, finishing third at the Staysure Senior PGA Championship.

The event was held at the Trump International Golf Links in Belmedie. Cambo clocked in rounds of 69, 71, 71, and 75, finishing two under for the tournament – some 10 shots behind winner Peter Baker of England.

Elsewhere on the Japanese Seniors Tour, New Zealander David Smail finished tied for 14th spot with five other players at The Maruhancup Taiheiyou Club tournament played at Gotemba in Japan. Smail finished on three-under at 141 after his two rounds of 68 and 73 – 11 shots behind winner Prayad Marksaeng, who completed the competition at 133.

Other New Zealand international golf results from the weekend were:

· James Hydes, tied for 20th at the Clutch Pro Tour event played at the Frilford Health Golf Club in Oxfordshire, England. Hydes finished 13 shots behind the tied trio of winners – Hunter Howell from the USA, and Ryan Evans, and George Mason of England.

· Steve Alker, tied for 23rd at The Ally Challenge played at Grand Blanc Golf Club in Michigan as part of PGA Tour Champions circuit. Alker finished five under at 211 after his three rounds – nine behind competition winner Vijay Singh of Fiji, who took out the title with a combined score of 202.

· Wenyung Keh, tied for 29th at the Ahlsell Nordic Golf Tour event played at Elisefarm Golf Club in Horby, Sweden. She finished with a combined five-over score of 221, Keh finished 11 shots off the pace set by winner Avani Prashanth of India, who carded 210.

· Amelia Garvey, tied for 47th at the Circling Raven Championship event played at Worley, Idaho, USA, on the Epson Tour. Shooting 215 after three rounds, Garvey finished 12-shots behind winner Yue Ren from China, who carded 203.

· Lydia Ko finished in 71st place at the CPKC Women’s Open played in Vancouver, Canada, as part of the LPGA Tour. Lydia signed off on a four-round 13-over total of 301. The event was jointly won by Megan Khang of the USA and Jin Young Ko of Korea, who both recorded nine-under totals of 279 at the end of their four rounds.
