Brown wins in Fiji14 Jun 2005
 |
Mark Brown | In wet and windy conditions, Wellington's Mark Brown has won the FJ$15,000 Air NZ Koru Club Pro-Am held at the Fiji's Denarau Golf Course over last weekend.
A first round 9-under 63 was good enough for Brown to take a five shot lead. While a fine second round 66 from Canterbury's Tony Christie closed the gap, Brown was solid in his second round in firing a 2-under 70, which resulted in a three shot victory at 11-under par.
