13 Kiwi PGA Professionals Starting In Australian Masters10 Nov 2009
There is a very strong New Zealand contingent lining up in the JBWere Australian Masters at Kingston Heath on Thursday.
Hastings' Doug Holloway won the four spot qualifier at the Keysborough Golf Club with a 67 to get into the field. He will play alongside North Harbour's Josh Carmichael for the first two days.
Wellington's Gareth Paddison is back from his year on the Challenge Tour in Europe, Tauranga's Josh Geary off the Nationwide Tour in the US, Manawatu's Tim Wilkinson making his first start after injury and surgery, and Michael Campbell off the European Tour, but now resident in Australia is in the starting line up.
Others New Zealanders in the field are Michael Long, Mahal Pearce, Brad Shilton, Jared Pender, Michael Hendry, Todd Nicholson, Hamish Robertson, Mark Purser, Mathew Holten and Brenden Stuart.
Oh, and Tiger Woods is also in the field. < Back
