Perkins Wins PGA Draw23 Oct 2009
 |
Duncan Simpson, CEO of the PGA, with Chris Perkins | Chris Perkins was the lucky winner of the Millennium Hotels Weekend for Two, drawn recently by the PGA.
Chris is a member of the Hororata Golf Club, been golfing for 10 years and plays off about an 11 handicap. His other sporting love is that of flying, and he is an instructor at the Canterbury Aero Club.
He says his “major achievement” in a golfing sense is that he is the current holder of the CD (Canterbury Draught) Trophy, a family event that often involves up to a dozen loosely related participants.
The Game is in good hands with Chris as he is soon to marry his fiancée Felicity Probert, also a member at Hororata.
He has chosen to use his prize by visiting the Queenstown area in the near future, hopefully enjoying a couple a rounds on that area’s choice of courses.
Chris qualified for this draw by firstly joining the “Friends of the PGA”, than adding a number of his friends.
Further draws will continue over the next couple of months, so don’t hesitate to join yourself up, and add some of your friends also.
